The Role
You'll be our first engineering hire, working directly with the CTO. You'll have real ownership over architecture, technical direction, and how the product gets built.
We're building the AI layer for auditing. Today it helps auditors verify annual reports. Tomorrow it handles every routine, document-heavy part of the audit: the work that consumes weeks of human time and should take minutes.
The ambition runs deeper. Audit is the trust layer of financial markets, what makes companies credible and public markets investable. Today that trust is produced by hand, at enormous cost, by a small guild of firms. We're building the infrastructure that commoditizes it: high-quality assurance, delivered faster, cheaper, and broader than any firm could deliver alone. When we succeed, the entire financial system becomes more efficient, more trustworthy, and more accessible.
You'll build the foundation for all of it.
What you'll do
- Design Rivisio's technical architecture from day one, laying the foundation for an AI platform that runs on the most sensitive documents in finance
- Push the frontier of applied AI in auditing: multi-agent verification systems, agentic auditing workflows. Problems no one has solved at scale
- Define the technical roadmap alongside the CTO, shaping how the trust layer of financial markets gets rebuilt
- Ship end-to-end features across the full stack
- Own the cloud on AWS: serverless, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD
- Build the core systems of the product
What we're looking for
- A passionate engineer with a few years of experience building great products using cutting-edge technologies
- You've built something before. A product, a system, a company. It doesn't need to have been a success. We value people who've taken the leap and learned from it, whether it worked or not
- An entrepreneurial mindset. You take ownership, move fast, and act without waiting for permission
- You feel comfortable working across the entire tech stack, with a focus on backend development
- You're a problem solver who's not afraid to come up with creative solutions and think holistically about software architecture
